Here you can estimate that amount before shipping, from the published tariffs of the terminals in Moscow, St Petersburg and Sochi. The result is an estimate: the exact figure will be on the terminal's invoice.
How it is calculated
Line by line, the way the terminal invoices it
Terminals charge 22% VAT on cargo from international flights too. That is how the calculators of Moscow Cargo and Sheremetyevo-Cargo count it. The 0% rate in the Russian Tax Code applies to the international carriage itself and to forwarding under a freight forwarding agreement.
Not included: customs payments, the customs representative's fee, delivery from the terminal and the airline's freight rate. I include those in a door-to-door quote.
