Pickup and export
I collect the cargo from the shipper and handle export clearance in the country of departure. In Russia I pick up in Moscow and, by arrangement, in other cities.
Relay Aero · air cargo & customs · Moscow
I take care of everything that happens to your shipment in Russia: handling at the airport in Moscow, customs clearance, certification and documents, delivery to the consignee's door. Export from Russia works the same way, starting with pickup from the shipper. You deal with one person and pay one price for the whole leg.
01Services
For an overseas agent I am one partner on the Russian side: logistics, customs and trade paperwork. I choose the contractors for every step myself and answer to you for the cargo the whole way.
I collect the cargo from the shipper and handle export clearance in the country of departure. In Russia I pick up in Moscow and, by arrangement, in other cities.
I book space on the flight and move the cargo to the destination airport. If the cargo travels better by container or truck, I arrange that too.
I take care of the cargo's release in Russia. The declaration itself is filed by my partner, a licensed customs representative.
I handle EAEU conformity declarations and certificates, safety data sheets and certificates of origin. Send me the HS code before the cargo moves, and I will tell you what paperwork it will need to clear customs.
I take the cargo from the airport to the consignee's warehouse or office, in Moscow or anywhere in Russia.
I put the cargo on the first available flight. When time costs more than money, I book guaranteed space.
The deal structure, the Incoterms and the supply contract: I go through them with you myself, before the cargo moves. A mistake in the contract is cheaper to catch before shipping than to fix at Russian customs.
02Complex routes
The cargo passes from hand to hand: from the agent at origin, through a transit hub, to Moscow. I confirm every leg before departure, so the cargo does not sit waiting at the hub.
The route runs through third countries and my agents there. If I have no agent in the country you need, I find one quickly.
I take care of the IATA DGR paperwork, UN packaging and the temperature requirements on the air waybill and at the warehouses. I move such cargo with partners who specialise in it.
I handle export clearance, certification and dangerous goods for departure. From St Petersburg I ship directly out of Pulkovo, without trucking the cargo to Moscow.
The carrier has refused the cargo, the agent at the other end has gone quiet and the shipment is sitting in a warehouse. I take on situations like this and get the cargo to the consignee.
I also work lanes that are normally hard to serve from this side. Ask me about a specific shipment: what needs to move and from where.
03Price
You get one figure for the whole leg. The quote spells out what is included and what is not, and gives the transit time in working days. It is valid for a limited time, because air rates change within days.
You pay the freight before I book the space and the rest before the cargo is released. Extra charges are possible only on items named in advance.
Request a quote04Chargeable weight
Volumetric weight is length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 6000. Large, light boxes are charged by volume. Calculate your pieces and move the result into the request with one click.
Measure at the outermost points of the packaging, pallet included. The carrier rounds chargeable weight up to the next 0.5 kg.
05How it works
You send five lines about the cargo through the form below, by email or by messenger.
On the same working day I send one price, the transit time and a list of what it covers.
We sign the agreement, you pay the freight, and I book the space on the flight.
I collect the cargo from the shipper and arrange its export clearance.
I let you know when the cargo is tendered to the terminal, when it departs and when it lands.
The cargo goes through customs clearance with the documents already prepared.
I deliver the cargo to the door and hand over the final documents.
If a date slips, you hear it from me within two hours, with the reason and the new date.
06About me
My path in logistics began on the railway: timber to China by the wagonload, international consignment notes, phytosanitary certificates and customs. Then I was managing director of an export company built from scratch. In a good month we shipped 80 wagons, and I filed every declaration myself, by hand.
More recently I was head of logistics at an international courier and cargo company, where I built the air freight department from the ground up. Now I move my clients' cargo myself, in my own name.
I lived in Germany for seventeen years. I speak English and German fluently and Polish well, so I talk to agents directly, without a chain of middlemen.
In my experience, the order goes to whoever answers first and is ready to sort things out at the weekend. That is why I am reachable at night and at weekends, with no surcharge for after-hours work.

07For agents
I give you a net rate for the Russian leg. You add your margin and work with the client under your own name. I work in the background as your forwarder and never approach your client.
Useful when a request for Russia lands on your desk and you have no one here you can rely on. It works both ways: when my clients need your country, I route their cargo through you.
